February 1st sparked the beginning of Five-Dollar Footlong sale. EVERY footlong is being sold for 5 dollars EXCEPT the Philly Cheese Steak and the Feast. Those are still regular price. Finally..Something New!

Recently, the Subway located on Southtown blvd. moved locations. Instead of being right there next to Real Hacienda and Gamestop, we have our own, super awesome, building. We have moved right down the road behind the mall. Our new location features a wrap-around drive-thru, huge lobby area, and brand new, modern decor. The new "feel" of our location makes you feel almost like sitting in a Starbucks or other coffee shop. Except with delicious sandwiches! We also have included WiFi and premium leather seating. Subway has even broadened their contract with Coke to include the very popular beverage, Cherry Coke. So, as you can see, Subway is even better than before. And starting February 1st, 2011, Five Dollar Footlong's is starting back up in Owensboro. So grab 5 bucks, come on down to the new and improved Subway on Southtown, grab a sandwich, a cherry coke, and relax comfortably in plush leather seats. Hope to see ya there!

This weird guy

One day while I was working a man entered my place of employment. He walked to where you order and began his order normally. Just as every other person. When his sandwich was ready for vegetables to be added it was passed to me. He started his vegetable order normally. He asked for extra onions on his sandwich. I gave him his onions accordingly. We started to talk and he told me he was about to go on a date with a stunningly beautiful young lady. I made a comment about the extra onions and he replied in a confident tone, "Gotta smell good for the ladies." In a slightly hick voice. I laughed so hard. As it was he got his sandwich with a 25% discount. Guess it really does pay to make people laugh.
